Background
Elise Aneron is a Slytherin, and although can be sly and cunning, is a generally nice character and can hold a decent conversation while being somewhat helpful. One of her values that is most noticeable is that she cares for the other students alot, although the same can't be said for the teachers. She treats them with disrespect and rarely is well-mannered in class. She can be a thoughtful individual, although this doesn't show in her schoolwork.

I was at the Lake with Stella, Zhiana and Jake, when Jake decided that we were going to play Truth and Dare. Stella picked me and I chose dare, then Zhiana gave her the idea to dare me to snog Jake for 2 minutes. We did, but then Zhiana got upset and started crying. She said she was over Jake, but it looks like she didn't realize it herself. Then Jake backed off and left. I felt like I was in the middle, between the two. The thing that I really didn't want was to be between them. I'd be happy if they got together, but I wouldn't want to come between Zhiana and Jake. I'll let time pass and see what happens.

Stella told me about the Giant Squid in the lake. Surely that can't be true, can it? She said she'd seen it.. but, surely it's a legend, isn't it?

Stella convinced me that there's no need to fret about Jake. She told me how there's plenty more there, and that I wouldn't want to come across as desperate. It's just Jake was so nice... Later me and Stella discussed what's been happening in the forest, and Monique's mysterious disappearance. Someone needs to piece it all together. What if Monique's disappearance is connected somehow to everything else that's been happening? Or what if everything is a joke? I found out Edward Grey was taken out of school because his parents were worried about the forest situation... This is certainly not an easy mystery to solve.

Father has still not sent any form of entertainment to me, and I am very disappointed. Although my day did brighten when I met a guy at the Lake, Jake Black. He was really sweet, until he told me he liked Zhiana. I don't think he's that interested in me. *sigh*

Today I arrived at Hogwarts, and to be blunt, it was much more boring than I expected. Although I did meet some nice people, and I went to class, although the lesson was far more dull than I expected. I've sent my letter to father, and I expect him to send something back that I can use for some sort of entertainment.
